Why Abroad Education?

The benefits of Abroad Education such as International exposure, different lifestyle, state-of-the-art multimedia classrooms, developing a global mindset and once in a life opportunity are pretty much known to anyone. We don’t want to emphasize more on these features as the parents are quite aware of what these abroad universities bring to the table. At League Overseas Edu, we are pretty sure of the two main questions running through the parents mind when it comes to abroad education.

Will my child be safe? Though they are 15 years of age and above, we know that they are still children to the parents. That’s why we pick the safest of countries so that their children can become a great doctor one day and serve the people. We provide you with all the necessary information, why we consider that particular place to be safe. And the next obvious thought is about the fees. The study fees for the entire MBBS course including all expenses will come around 2-6 lakhs/year depending on the college and the country. There is NO donation fee. This is a boon considering the crores of rupees students need to pay for private institutions in India. The study fees are to be paid yearly to the college directly, you don’t have to pay them as a whole.

We also know that these two are just the tip of the iceberg queries from parents. So, we follow this with a live separate session between the director and the parents at our office. Mostly it is not only the parents but the entire family who come to enquire about abroad education but we graciously welcome them and also giving them the liberty to walk out only after they are satisfied with all their queries.

CURRENT NMC (National Medical Council) REGULATIONS (After 18.11.2021)

  • The entire course duration should be a minimum duration of fifty-four months
  • The student must have undergone a minimum duration of twelve months in the same foreign medical institution
  • Medium of instruction must be English
  • The student must be registered with the respective professional medical regulatory body in the country of education and must have a license to practice medicine at par with the citizen of that particular country.
  • The total duration of the foreign medical graduation course shall be completed within ten years from the date of joining the course.

“PARENTS & TEACHERS MUST BE AWARE OF THESE RULES BEFORE JOINING MEDICAL EDUCATION IN ABROAD”

About Fees

And the next obvious thought is about the fees. The fees for the entire 6 year MBBS course will come around 15 lakhs(without food). There is NO donation fees. This is a boon considering the crores of rupees students need to pay for private institutions in India. The fees is to be paid yearly to the college directly, you don’t have to pay them as a whole.

League College Standard Criteria

League Overseas Edu follows strict criteria by which it selects only specific colleges from different countries. We have ten components under these criteria. Only if the colleges fulfill these criteria, League Overseas Edu decides to enroll students into the college. Some of the salient components of the criteria are

The colleges selected by League Overseas Edu will have an effective security department. This is the first line of defense inside a campus. They will also have twenty-four hour CCTV surveillance with cameras present throughout the campus.

The cost of education as told already in these LUSC eligible colleges is way cheaper than India.

All colleges that we enroll students to are MCI Approved. This is very important, because it is necessary for students to come back and practice in India.

The course is taught in English by professors who have mostly completed their post-graduation in western countries. Their accent is quite different, which is usually picked up by students within a month.

The main staple food of the people must be rice/wheat. The cuisine must be healthy with lots of vegetables and fruits in it. Presence of an Indian mess is an added advantage. Though the tastes vary, the students usually don’t have problems getting accustomed to the food.

The healthcare in some of these countries is really great, because the number of private hospitals is usually less. People mostly tend to use these Government hospitals as they are cheap too. These hospitals are well maintained as the governments spend a lot of money for healthcare development in the country. The hospitals use modern equipment and state-of-the-art treatment therapies which sure go a long way in molding the thought process of the future doctors.

Single and two sharing rooms are provided by the colleges. Hostels are separate for boys and girls. Water and electricity are available non-stop throughout the year. Every room has AC (both hot and cold), water heater facilities and is properly furnished with cupboards, study tables, chairs and cots for the students. The hostels have a common room with many washing machines, so that the students don’t have to go through the gruel task of washing the clothes themselves. Some colleges have a common kitchen so that students can cook whenever they need.

This is most important as it well help shape the career of a young doctor into becoming a more matured and experienced doctor. Direct patient-care clinical work will help students in the management of various illnesses, the prevention of diseases, etc., League Overseas Edu select colleges which focus on these and help students achieve the desired result.

In this ever evolving field of medicine, knowledge of research expertise is essential. Students planning a pure clinical career would also benefit a lot from a research experience. As a physician, whether students seek to determine the patients’ medical conditions or through the process of continuing education, this experience provided by colleges selected under LCSC will come in handy.

The diversity of teaching experiences a medical college offers to students during their undergraduate year must be very broad, as this will help the students to make their basic concepts in the medical subjects very strong. This will lay a foundation for major subjects later in the course. The colleges selected by us teach in a structured & organized manner.

FMGE PREPARATION

Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is conducted for students who complete their MBBS in foreign countries. They must score 150 marks out of 300.  All are multiple choice questions. Each correct answer amounts to 1 mark and there are no negative markings. The subjects are the same nineteen which are asked in the NEET-PG exams in India, there is no additional subject for Foreign Graduates.

Though many coaching centers are advertising this as a tough exam, the truth is somewhat different. Students must revise their previous year subjects at least twice next year. Though many students know this is a must to pass FMGE without any hurdles, they fail to do so. We provide students with FREE hard disks/tabs, that contain up-to-date medical videos, study materials and e-books which the students use it to aid their revision. The students are requested to visit us early once to get these materials updated.

We conduct subject wise exams and mock tests in the last two years before the FMG exams in order for the students to get accustomed to taking tests online. Starting preparation from first year itself by attending coaching classes, mock tests itself will not help in the long run, so says our research about students’ study routine and their success in FMGE.
